Glorious moment.

The e-Club Christmas LAN Party is finally over. My team for the Team Fortress 2 competition emerged as champion too.

We won RM1500, shared among the 6 of us. I've also won the Left 4 Dead competition, of which I earned a Centurion CoolerMaster casing, and an extra RM100.

I'm very happy with the result, only a little disappointed as there aren't as many teams joined the Team Fortress 2 competition as I thought.

Speaking of which, I've met my one of my old gaming friends again. She changed a little I guess, as she was much....rougher back then. =P At first she couldn't recognize me, though she thought I looked familiar and approached me. Since I do remember her, I told her we've met before, and she remembered. We talked quite a bit, and I might have gotten her interested in Team Fortress 2 too. ;]

Well I guess it's time to lay off from too much hardcore gaming, as I still have an assignment to hand up, and exams are drawing near. (I'm sure I will not be able to stay true to my words though xD)

Hopefully I will be able to get pictures of the tournament soon.

Our reality is checked!

So, the first day of the e-Club Christmas LAN Party is all about the latest survivor horror first person shooter game from Valve; Left 4 Dead.

There are about 30 computers free to play, only Left 4 Dead, to promote the game. So basically me and my friends went there early to get some fun session and to get used to the different settings.

The competition starts at 2pm, due to the Expert mode being "too hard" for some of them, its voted to be changed into Advanced instead. Which is easier by a clear mile. Since me and my friends have played since the release of the game, it is not as hard for us, and we plowed through the map in 25 minutes.

The organizers decided to add some extra kicks. Expert game mode, of which the winner gets RM100 for each member. We played again, but in a much slower pace. Though we still managed to go through the map in 50 minutes, which is still a record for all of us.

So, my team bagged both sessions. Prizes will be 4 (four) Left 4 Dead themed CoolerMaster casings, and RM100 for each of us, which will be presented on Sunday.

I am very proud of myself, and also to my mates. I would extend a special thanks to them, because without them, there will be no me, and no REAL.

The time has come.

So, tournament starts tomorrow, exactly on Christmas day. I will be there competing. It will be at Rock Cafe, just behind Sunway Pyramid. If anyone knows where it is or wants to come, do give me a call.

Will not be there on the 26th though, as that one is postponed to 27th. But I will still be there 25th, all day long =)

Reunion

Went out with my old schoolmates again, this time to a pretty weird place; The National Zoo. I have no idea what makes them want to go there, but I followed them anyway, for the sake of friends. Wasnt that bad, besides the part that walking is very tiring.

Went with them to a steamboat & bbq restaurant at Pandan Indah, the place where we usually hang out once in a while. It's been a tradition I guess. We stayed there for...2 and a half hours, eating and chit-chatting. There were so many things to talk about, since its been quite some time since we last saw each other.

Tournament is in less than 2 days, my anxiety is growing greater and greater. Hopefully I will not disappoint my team.

Sounds of Steel

Went out to Bukit Bintang today together with some of my classmates to conduct a survey for our assignment. Not as easy as it seems, in such a hot weather condition too. We only took a couple of picture for each of us to be featured in the assignment, but it should be more than enough.

On a side note, I have purchased the SteelSeries Siberia Full Size Headset.

It costs Rm270, but it is totally worth the price. The earpieces are so comfortable I can hardly feel that I'm wearing it. The sound quality is amazing, and the bass is simply great! Totally no regrets getting this one thanks to suggestions from some of my gaming friends. =D

With this, my collection of gaming hardware is complete. Razer Deathadder Mouse, Razer Tarantula Keyboard and SteelSeries Siberia Headset. Unless mousepads are counted, but I do have the Orange Box and Left 4 Dead gaming mousepads =P

Nostalgic

Ah, to go out with my old high school friends is great. It feels like forever since we last went out. We've never got together ever since one of us departed to the States.

How long? 3 months according to one of them, and it didn't even feel that long.

We watched a movie titled "Yes Man" starring Jim Carrey. It's been a while since I've last watched a comedy in a cinema, it feels so good to have ea good laugh with my best buddies. Enjoyed the show so much. This movie is recommended for everyone.

Tomorrow I'll be going out again, this time is not a leisure outing. Me and my group are going to conduct a survey for our assignment. Tough job for a shy guy like me huh? Well I guess I could try to overcome it, or else this is gonna cost me in the future.

Time grows short.

Ah, we are approaching the end of year 2008. Feels like I'm growing so old, so quickly. Although I do not want time to pass so quickly, there are a lot of things that I really look forward to.

First would be the upcoming gaming tournament at Sunway Rock Cafe. Its only a week away now, and I am very anxious and excited. I will be leading my own team for Left 4 Dead, and as a member in another team for Team Fortress 2. Full details will be available here.

Secondly is the new and final semester for my Diploma. The only reason I look forward to it is because I get to make a real advertising campaign in my college. There will be a lot of stuff to do, but I'm sure I will enjoy it, and all the blood, sweat and tears me and my classmates shed will surely pay off. This is where we will test our teamwork and bonds to the fullest.

Will graduate from Diploma after that, and I will most likely continue my studies to Advanced Diploma.

Nothing much has happened recently, its as if life is boring =P

Well, guess I'll just see. Whatever happens, happens. Only time will tell. =D

Good start.

SATURDAY, December 13th - Residents of Loke Yew Road got woken up by a loud crashing sound, followed by 2 police sirens. Incident happened about 0700 hours, residents were awoken after hearing loud crashing sound, police sirens followed, and shortly thereafter, a few gunshots were heard.

The result of this pursuit of what appears to be a cargo container was a cab got caught in a corner, resulting in a crash, and dragged on for about 50 metres. A car which happened to be driving along the road is also involved as it got crashed together while trying to give way for whatever is being chased. In yet another corner, the "Chee Cheok Lam" arch, which have been there for a long time, was torn down, which obstructs the road. It is believed this is the reason why cops left the car to pursue on foot, and fired a few shots. While the driver leaves from where they went in to continue pursuit on the road.

Stay tuned for more updates.

The cab is facing the wrong direction. The result of the crash
The "Chee Cheok Lam" arch, torn down, and the unlucky vehicle

Update: It appears the trailer truck was hijacked from Old Klang Road when the driver stopped to take a leak. Apparently the hijackers isn't good in handling a trailer, the employees quickly called their employer and they give pursuit, while keeping the police updated as they go.

The chase goes all the way to Loke Yew Road, which the truck made a turn into the housing area with a very narrow road, and the following events occurred.

The overturned truck on the scene.

Wrong place, wrong time.

I have found out that the venue for the gaming tournament this Christmas has been changed. It seems that the organisers are having a little financial problems to make it at Berjaya Times Square. Apparently the publicity in the city center wasn't worth the extra spendings.

It is now changed to Rock Cafe, around Sunway. Behind it to be exact. I have been there once. Though I will need guidance to go there again.

Sunway is pretty far for most people. I would love to have my friends around to support me in this tournament. They would definitely prefer a mall because we can hand around when I am not playing, but since it is now a cyber cafe, theres nothing they can do.

Guess I have no choice but to play the best I could without support then =/

December 7th, 2008

Nothing much has happened this past week. Only a lot of things to prepare for, and anticipate in the near future.

First, will be the Drama Presentation in class, which me and my group is supposed to act out the scene we have chosen in class. No reading from script whatsoever. I am still procrastinating instead of trying to get the script down in my brain.

Secondly, the upcoming gaming tournament. This will be held at Berjaya Times Square, from 25th to 28th December. I will be participating in 2 of the games available, which covers all 4 days (Talk about parking fee, geez). Whoever interested to cheer me on, or simply to watch all the hype the gaming community can bring, just drop by. It will be at the new Digital Centre at the 2nd floor.

I have also found a pair of cute female Japanese singers. They are not only good looking, but can also sing and dance Live.

Amazing aren't they? They are called "Halcali", which is a combination of both their names "Halca" (Haruka) and "Yucali" (Yukari).

Both of them look great, but I prefer Haruka ;)

Magic?

I've recently found something interesting.

http://en.akinator.com/#

This website attempts to guess what character, real or not, you are thinking in your mind by asking questions.

I've tried it personally and most of the time it was accurate. Those wrong guesses was because I gave the wrong answer.

It's pretty fun I should say, although it may seem to be boring, I cant help but be amazed that it can actually guess correctly.

A new age begins.

Ah, it's that time of the year again, which happens once a year, just like New Year's, to every living being. 26th November marks my 20th birthday.

And just like that, I have reached the second decade of my life. It feels, nostalgic somehow, I can still recall what happened years ago while I was still in high school.

I've got numerous wishes this year, which makes me so happy. I've also got a sweater from my beloved coursemates, they know I always shiver in lecture halls, thanks a lot. =D

Ordinary turned...a little extra. =P

The usual Monday blue, and I was especially lazy since my car needs to be fixed, and having no transport practically ruined my mood. Still got my @$$ hauled to college anyway, by asking my friend to take a detour to my house and pick me up.

Everything went as normal, as I was walking towards the station, my phone rang.

It was from a landline, I picked up. To my surprise, it was Sham, from MixFM. I remember giving him my number back during the MixFM's Karaoke Party.

At first I didn't know the reason he called. He simply asked me how to pronounce the word "Caillat".

Yeah, it's Colbie Caillat's name, and I still did not know the true reason behind the call. I must be overly surprised. I asked him, and he said he's gonna put me on radio, and I finally get it.

Colbie Caillat's name is often mispronounced, and I suppose he was calling a number of people to see who actually gets it correct (which I did). So I guess whoever that was listening to MixFM between 2-3pm would've heard my voice on air.

If I would've been able to maintain my composure, I would ask some questions, but I lost it =X

We'll I guess if he could call me once, he could call me again eh? xD

Ratio 3:1

Met with yet another accident, but this time is minor, and totally not my fault.

I was heading back from college, going uphill on the flyover near National library, I saw the traffic is jammed about a sprint track's length in front, naturally, I slow down with the brakes. When I was a few feet away from coming to a complete halt, my car shook together with a loud bang from behind.

It was a bike this time around, and since he fell off his bike, I checked on him if he is injured, no visible flesh wound, but his bike is damaged. The side windows fell apart, and the front wheel went out of alignment. I check the condition of my car, and found out it only added a few scratches to the already scratched rear bumper.

We stopped at a side to further check his and his bikes condition, and after I called my parents, seeing it was only a minor scratch, we decided to let it slide. Little did I know that the car made klunking noises if its still, or moving slowly, and it happens when there is weight in the car i.e me. I tried leaving the car and the noise stops. Something must have gone loose. I was also foolish enough to forget to take down the license plate number, damn.

I know, some people are gonna laugh at me or say how stupid I am on the wheel, and all I have to say is you're not there to witness.

On the bright side, Left 4 Dead is finally live on Steam. I have waited months for this game and now it is proving to be worth every cent spent on it.

Countdown, bored of it.

Watched the movie version of "A streetcar named Desire", which is adapted from a story. It was really nice, and learned a lot about acting, which would be very helpful for my Drama Assignment. Left 4 Dead is due to release next Tuesday, I am bored of the short 2 stage demo, and cant wait till I get my hands on the full game.

Oh, I have also downloaded a pirated copy of Red Alert 3 =P

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has been some time,
I do not know how or when it started.
At first, I thought there will never be,
Never imagined this would be me.

I have since tried,
But all to no avail.
What I did were simply taken for granted,
Instead of the realization I wanted.

Anxiety and waiting, it sucks.

Some of my friends got their early demo access to Left 4 Dead last night. This is a bonus, aside from the 10% off, that they get when they pre-order the game from Steam.

I have...3 days to wait, probably 4 because of the timezone difference and download speed, until I can get my hands on the game I have anxiously waited for months.

May not look it, but I am a huge fan of survival horror games, especially those with more action, and co-op mode. Co-op mode is totally my favorite feature of any game, this is because I never liked to play alone, and prefer to have friends along.

This, together with my favorite genre, the survival horror games, packed with intensity and action thanks to the AI Director, will make Left 4 Dead my favorite game of all time, I just know it. Maybe until some other better game just like it emerges, which I'm sure will not be possible, at least not in a number of years.

I may be telling my friends to enjoy the early demo access, what they rightfully deserve, but I am actually jealous that they can play the game before me. 3 days until I receive the chance to get my hands on the demo, I will make the most out of the short 6 days to gain as much experience as possible.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

18 days and counting.

Woke up 15 minutes earlier than I was supposed to. All of a sudden I felt lazy to wake up. Turned the alarm off, and got back to sleep. To go to a lecture 8am in the morning for only 2 hours is very boring, especially since I have nothing to do right after that, besides, most of the stores and stalls aren't even open at 10am.

Only 1 week left until the much anticipated Demo for Left 4 Dead is released. I have paid the pre-order money to my friend, and I received one of the two gaming mousepads. The other one will be received upon collection. Hopefully I can post pictures up during it's release on 22nd November.

I am to act out a scene from a novel for my drama class. Half an hour of it. Having completely no experience in acting (bet none of us do), I'm very nervous. The scene chosen by my team mates has a very....emotional scene too, which I know they intend to let me do it.

I'll just see how it goes tomorrow, as there will only be drama class.

Professionals have standards.

Well, replacing the Mass Media Law lecture today is the talk about self image. It has never occurred to me that physical appearance plays such a role in a job interview, and dressing for the occasion is not as easy at it seems too.

I can say I learned something new I guess, first impressions is what tells the interviewer the most about us. Can't say my effort of going to the lecture is wasted =)

Remind me to join a professional company next time. Women look extremely beautiful in business formal attire. =P

...and life goes on.

It has been pretty boring with practically nothing to do, aside from some of my coursework which had to be done, but that isn't much. It's been over a week since the threats I received and I have yet to see anything happen. Perhaps my conclusion is right, they can't do shit. I might make this blog public again, hopefully, as some of my readers have difficulty gaining access for some reason.

I've got the latest single from David Archuleta, the 1st runner up of American Idol. It's titled Crush, and the 17 year old boy can really sing. It's a good song, I recommend it for everyone. After listening to this song, I wondered who is the true American Idol. =X

The countdown to Left 4 Dead global release goes on, with 30 days remaining. As the waiting continues, I did some research using only gameplay videos, and it proved to be very helpful. Who would have imagined that even such short clips would contain that much information. I have also created my own team just for this upcoming game, and membership will be handpicked. The reason is because I do not want just anyone that play the game to be a member, which will easily flood the group with a bunch of people that just plays for fun. The objective of this group is to play it like how it should be played, instead of gaining attention of a boss enemy for the sake of an achievement.

As if my problems are not enough...

So I've decided to make my blog private, only readers whom I have invited will be allowed to view it. I did not want to take such drastic measures, but I simply can't take it any longer.

There's been a random idiot who showed up and has somehow, showed hatred towards me, be it in comments or chatbox. This random guy have been sending hate messages through those means, and refuses to reveal himself, until I finally took action and insulted him.

Guess what, he revealed some information alright, apparently he's pretty close to my college, a student of my college would be highly possible too. He's been sending threatening messages ever since. Somehow, he knows who I am, and I have narrowed down my suspects into one of those in my own course. Since I do not know who did I "piss off", which I apparently did to "many people", I came to a conclusion that he weren't from my course after all. I am not close to some of my coursemates I dislike, everyone I dislike for that matter, which I would barely have any contact with, which makes me wonder how could I possibly piss anyone off.

Mr. Anonymous, known only as "BBoy" has threatened to damage my current mean of transport to college, which is my brother's car. Another random guy, known only as "Booyahz" also threatened to somehow find me in college to "settle" me. After some research using my position as the blog admin, I found that these 2 random guys posted the threat messages with the same IP address, which made me conclude: they are possibly thugs in Cyber Cafes.

He seems to be so tough. Apparently, its between him, me and HIS friends, and said that MY friends should get out of the way. What kind of people could I have possibly pissed off? I've been trying to figure this out but I can't seem to think of any. My contacts in college are...only restricted to my own course.

Could whoever the guy(s) be are anyone in my own course after all? It's a mystery, really. I'm not that dumb to actually show up in the place he said to find him. If he wants me, he should come and look for me. Oh yes, I will definitely remember to bring my trusty weapon of self defense, the Balisong, to college everyday from now on. Until I confirmed that I'm safe, or I finds out who that shitbag is, I will not stop doing so, even if I risk being arrested by cops for carrying a weapon.

So, with that said, I would like to say that I regret not making this blog private much earlier. To the readers I trusted, do not be afraid to do what you had to do for your own safety and privacy. Internet harrassment is a common thing these days and I have just fallen victim to it. Do not do such a mistake like I did.

Update: Reached another conclusion. The reason why the random hater knew so much about me is very simple and obvious. He figured out my name from my nick "allenaw88", but did he mention my full name? No. He knows I drive a car, but did he mention the license number? No. He knows I own a knife, but was it correct? No either. All these little information are gained through my previous posts, and it will not be enough. Yeah sure, I have posted my picture and he knows how I look, sadly, I will be with my friends more, much more often from now. Besides, what can they possibly do in college grounds? Epic fail.

This blog is left dead...NOT!

Never realized I have not updated for over a week, definitely due to some new games I bought and downloaded into my computer =P

Nothing really interesting happened, aside from the commencement of a new semester in my college. Apparently the lecturer for my Drama (Yes, drama) class is a very strict one. Since I decided not to show up for the first lecture, I got some info out of my coursemates. It appears that attendance is taken during the very first lecture (attendance is usually not taken in lectures), of which a lot of people, myself included, did not turn up. My name is the first to be called, darn it, I don't like being on top of the list. Okay then since she's so strict about attendance, I shall see how she does in another important aspect which is punctuality.

There's a bloody lecture in...about 4 and a half hours, and here I am blogging. It's a freaking lecture too, of which the lecturer decided not to show up when I did. Feel so lazy to attend since there is practically nothing for me to do once the lecture finishes. The bloody office staff is doing such a horrible work in preparing the timetable, sucks.

I've recently watched a gameplay video of a highly anticipated survival horror game from Valve, Left 4 Dead. It included commentary from the game developer himself, playing with some other people during an event. I can't help but drool over it because it is simply magnificent. The gameplay, the graphics, the physics, everything. This is possibly the only one game where you can never think to complete alone. Teamwork is essential, and you need to be understanding, calm, resourceful and analytical. Thanks to the AI "Director" in the game, players will never know what to expect. Although the architecture will be the same, enemies will not appear the same place twice, or at least will be different every time you play. The Director will also adjust the difficulty level according to the current team situation, if the team is plowing through the level, it will add more enemies, even bosses, into the round. If the team is low on health and ammunition, it will reduce the enemies instead.

You might think this is a typical survival horror game which you can clear with a lot of firepower, but you will be proven wrong. The enemies are not walking corpses, they are merely humans infected with some virus, making them practically mindless and hostile towards any normal human. They can climb walls, and instead of walking slowly, they charge at players as fast as they can once spotted.

Left 4 Dead is scheduled to release November 19th in US, and 21st the rest of the world. More updates about it coming soon. I expect a lot from this game, and I would not mind spending money for it.

It's a love story, baby just say yes.

Since I have left this blog pretty much dead for a week, and I refuse to let it stay this way any longer, here's a short post about Taylor Swift, a young country pop artist from Tennessee.

Talk about her new single, Love Story, from my point of view, it's about the challenges a couple have to face before finally able to be together. The father of the girl would not let any guys to see his daughter, and she fell in love with a guy, which in the song, referred to "Romeo" and "Juliet" respectively."See you make your way through the crowd and say hello, little did I know..."

Since her father doesn't let her see anyone, she sneaked out of her home, just to see the one she loves."...that you were Romeo you were throwing pebbles, and my daddy said stay away from Juliet"

She waited outside her home, waiting for him to show up."Marry me Juliet you never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know"

He showed up, and they were together, the expression on their faces clearly shows that they love each other."We were both young when I first saw you"

The lyrics of this song are very meaningful. The song itself has a big plot, packed into a short 4 minute song. The music video is simply beautiful, Taylor never looked any better, in that outfit, she looks just like a princess,or Juliet.

Don't forget to check out the music video of her latest single, as well as her other songs on GAC.

Swift sounds.

Will be quite busy this 2 days I suppose. I have a dinner and a wedding to attend.

Anyway, this post will be about promoting a singer I love the most right now. That's right, Taylor Swift!

She's going to launch her new album, Fearless, soon!

This is the album cover, she looks amazing.

This album is scheduled to release in US on November 11th. About a month and a half from now. I have already listened to the first single, Love Story, from GAC's (Great American Country) website. The song is very lovely, and she looks gorgeous in the music video.

Check out the video for her latest single, Love Story, as well as her other videos here!

New look.

Finally got my haircut. Much shorter and neater now. Have them colored dark brown together. I suppose it will be good, since there will be a wedding to attend this Saturday.

The process was so boring, 3 different....stuff, were applied on my hair. It felt so heavy, and I had to wait like an hour before moving on to wash them. And another 15 minutes of treatment after that too, I should've brought my PSP there, freaking bored.

Costed RM180 to get my hair done, wow, 1st time I spent so much on my hair, although it's not my money. Given a choice I'd rather add another 100 to buy the Razer Piranha.

Sorry, no pictures of my new hair, there aren't any cameras around, my phone camera got busted.

Anyway, here's a nice song. Watch it!

Can anyone tell me the name of this song? I've been looking for it and I still cant find it. If anyone can download the mp3 for me it will be much appreciated.

Time for a change?

Went to Times Square with a bunch of friends, old and new, bound by the same interest: Team Fortress 2.

Since my current team is falling apart, I'm on the verge of deciding my future. So far I have remained, as I am reluctant to leave the young and inexperienced behind, and I am giving myself a week to decide.

Back to the outing, reached there at 11am and met Cyro (not real name), played some arcade while waited for the rest to arrive. When everyone is here, we went for lunch at McD's.

This is probably the one outing where we talk about game almost all the time. I could've sworn we sat at McD's for over an hour doing so. After that we went to Borders bookstore. One of them need to buy a book, but we ended up sitting on the floor of the comic's section and hung out there for over an hour too. Soon after, 2 of us had to leave, and we decide to hit the arcade 1 more time. Went home right afterwards.

I finally bought the balisong (butterfly knife) which I desire. It costed a little more than I expected, but it will be worth it. It has dual edge, but since one of them is blunt, figured I could still practice flipping it. Before any of you ask, I did not buy the knife to slit my own wrist, nor to kill anyone I hate. I just bought it for the sake of buying it. You can say it's a result of playing too much Spy in Team Fortress 2, which is also one of my best classes ^^.

Happy Birthday, and farewell.

Had a birthday bash for birthday girl, and former schoolmate Wai Kwan today, and together with a farewell dinner for Hai Meng, who will be leaving to further his studies in England.

Held at TGI Friday's at Pavilion KL. Me, Kah Chung, Hai Meng, Chee Hoe, Chuan Sheng, Loong Fatt, Yew Seng, Wei Peng, Kar Ee, Ker Pei, Shu Kim, Li Tyng, Wai Kwan and his boyfriend whom i forgot his name (Sorry) were there. Pretty much most of the old highschool gang were there. The rest were insignificant enough to make any difference.

Anyway, we all arrived at Friday's about 7pm, a few were late because of personal problems, but they still made it for the dinner. Pretty much a reunion, we all had a lot to talk about the whole time we were there.

After our stomachs were satisfied, we asked for the cake to be brought out. Birthday girl and Wai Kwan and Hai Meng were asked to stand on a chair to give their speech. While Wai Kwan did not have to do much, we decided to "torture" Hai Meng a little, since he decided to leave the rest of us. His face got splattered with whipped cream by Kah Chung, Chee Hoe, Chuan Sheng and Yew Seng and Shu Kim.

Took our pictures, and gave Wai Kwan and Hai Meng their gifts. We bought Hai Meng a whistle-keychain, and a cue ball. The cue ball has our signatures on it, and aptly named "Champion Ball". It will surely remind him of the gang back here while he is out there.

One of the best moments we had after apart for 3 years ofter our highschool graduation. We have all grown up, driving around, and some even have part time jobs to support their lives. Someday everyone will have their own career and family, but hey, no harm in going out once in a while for a cup of coffee eh? We are always bound by the unbreakable string of friendship called "St. John Ambulance Cadet, badge of 2005".

Another semester...

Finished my exam, finally I can breath a sigh of relieve, and concentrate on my path of professional gaming for a few weeks. This has all gone pretty smoothly, until a few minutes ago.

It was today's final paper, I really didn't know why I didn't notice it sooner. There's a question where we are supposed to write a slogan and a headline for a product, and it gives 25 points. I'm like, wow, 25 points just for headline and slogan? Then, I cracked my head thinking of the best slogan and headline possible.

I just found out that apparently, we are also supposed to write a body copy along with the headline and slogan, which as left a lot of my course mates in chaos. Obviously all of us are very surprised at how much a slogan and headline can give. Now, most of us are already complaining about the loss of our points, just because of the slight mistake in the question paper. What now?

Can't do anything much, as the answers are already submitted. Most of my course mates are very unsatisfied about this. I'm a victim just like them, so I know how they feel. There's nothing we can do now can we? We should issue an official complaint to the college, as it is very unfair for us to lose so many points which could determine our final results just because of a slight mistake.

New rig!

Finally, after 2 days spent in the service department, the problem is finally fixed. and My new gaming rig is finally up and running. It feels so good to have such a rig with good performance. I feel so happy and excited.

Specs:
-Intel Core2Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz
-2X2GB Kingston RAM
-MSI Nvidia Geforce 8800GT GFX
-ASUS P5QL Motherboard

Can't remember the rest. All those, accompanied by my Razer Deathadder mouse and Razer Tarantula Keyboard. Can say as a total gaming rig.

This rig have to last a minimal of 2 years. I will buy some new games for this machine soon, it craves for a better performance.

I believe I'm right, not a damn soul can change me

Wow, first exam subject of Media Planning. Wasn't as hard as expected, as what my lecturer told us to study on, its exactly whats in the exam paper. I am so thankful to myself for contacting m3n last night and ask for tip about this. Thanks m3n ^^

Another thing is, I got pissed off, again, through the Internet. All I did was try to maintain order and did what I had to do, and people went all emotional and I get the blame. Fine, maybe what I did wasn't the best choice, but I don't see anyone doing anything about it. I took matters into my own hands, and I have a good reason to do it.

Tomorrow's exam will be English Language, which I have the utmost confidence on.

My brother is back from the Middle East, and I will get my new rig from him this coming Sunday along with the Razer Piranha Gaming Communicator, and probably Razer Goliathus Control edition and some new games along with them.

I have this feeling in my chest again, and it's longing to be released in full force. I can't punch my monitor now can I?

Here are some lessons:

1)Never let your emotions take over your actions.
2)Never let your feelings affect your performances.
3)Always believe and have faith in what you think is right, regardless of what people say.

Back from Bukit Merah

Well I'm back from Bukit Merah trip. It wasn't that good, wasn't that bad either. It was because of my crazy friends that made the most out of the trip. They improvised from what could be a boring trip, to an enjoyable one.

First off, lemme talk about the downfalls of this trip. One of them was one of my friends couldn't make it because of personal problems. And then, we did not get return transportation because they don't sell it, so we decided to get it once we get there. Then, one of my friends MUST reach KL by Monday as he as exam the following day, and ironically, all the return tickets for Monday is sold out as it was a holiday so the people on vacation chose to return home on that day itself. Out of choice, we decided to return on Sunday midnight.

The best fun thing during the trip is totally the first night we're there. We played a game of Blackjack, but instead of gambling money, we decided that losers are to prank call a friend of ours. I was the lucky survivor and did not have to do it. 5 of them had to, and it was helluva fun time.

On the 2nd day, we went to the Orang Utan Island, the EcoPark and the Water Park. The first 2 was a little disappointing, as there isn't much to see, but the water park made up for it. Although it was a replication of Sunway Lagoon, we had fun playing in the water.

We departed home that night, although it's pretty tiring, we enjoyed ourselves. One of them will be leaving soon, and we will be having a dinner party with him soon. This will be the final dinner party with him, and we decided to hit it big at TGI Fridays, prepare to spend a lot for food again Allen.

Anyway, I am still deciding if I should get the Razer Piranha Gaming Communicator for my new rig. I thought of exchanging it with a Goliathus Gaming Mousepad, but I just remembered that the old headset is faulty and should break soon. Some bad reviews from my friends also demotivated me, but I really want to complete my gaming peripherals collection for my new gaming rig. Puzzled again.

Just my entry for the day.

Ah, the time has finally come at last. It's time for stupid college examination again. The most dreaded time of college life, 3 final exams in a year heh.

Well, this semester shouldnt be a problem, as the subjects are not that hard compared to the last 2 semesters. Besides, theories are much lesser, while answers involving common sense (heh) gives most of the points.

I will be going off to Bukit Merah tomorrow with my old high school friends, so I will be missing for 3 days, and be back on Monday. Hopefully one of them will have a camera as mine was busted and my sis, well I don't know what happened to it.

And, I will be getting my new rig September 7th, right in the middle of my exams hahah. Can't be helped, bro comes back at that time. After some of my friends gave bad reviews of the Razer Piranha Gaming Communicator, I thinking twice about purchasing it, as there are quite some new games I could buy with RM300. But I want to complete my collection of gaming peripherals, what should I do!!?? (In deep thoughts)

Another fucking accident...

Geez, this time around it's at the dumb train station near my college. Was fetching my friends to the station since it's raining, and when I was just about to leave, a car hits mine.

Theres a car in front of me blocking my way, or else I would have just driven straight. So I did what I must, turn the signal lights, looking at the side mirror and even turned my head backwards to see clearer. I am very damn sure the traffic is clear and so I proceeded to move my car to the right lane and the next thing I hear is a bang. The fuck man, after hitting my car I can clearly see he is driving quite fast, even after hitting my car.

It resulted in my front right tyre got busted, and front bumper scratched, but with no dents, which wasn't that bad. Compared to mine though, his condition is worse as his left headlight is completely busted.

Angrily, I got out of the car and slammed the door so hard. He approached me saying I'm crazy, I shouted in his face not to think I'm stupid, my friends are there to witness, he is the one that banged on my car. Fine, go to the cop station, I will be right behind after replacing the flat tyre. Thankfully one of my friends knows how to replace tyres, or else I will be stuck there not knowing what to do.

We went to the cop station, with my friends as the witness, and the first thing the cop do was ask who the driver was, and brought me and the other guy into his room, while my friends are to remain outside, I immediately suspected something fishy is going on. I explained what happened together with a sketch, telling the story, and the cop freaking says its my fault. How can it possibly its my fault when I took every measure to make sure the other lane is clear before I move? I tried to argue, but since he is the cop, I decided not to do anything harsh. He suggested that I call my dad and let him do the talking.

After a while, we went outside, while we was about to go and make a report, I called my dad again, this time speaking to the other guy, somehow he convinced him to simply forget about the case, he agreed as he says he doesn't want to make the problem any bigger. Although, he managed to make me feel sorry (I'm very sure it wasn't my fault), as his damage could cost a fortune to repair.

Went back home, and I'm sure I will get some serious bickering from my parents later. I'm just gonna tell the details of what happened, and if they still insist that is was my fault, I'll just keep quiet, and vent my anger out somewhere else.

My car wasn't that damaged, only a busted tyre, scratched in the front bumber and the wheel allignment went a little wrong. A problem that can be fixed with money.

My dark side?

It's been a pretty boring week, with pretty much nothing to do since all my assignments are done, and exam is around the corner. Ups and downs, I can say I have learned so much this past week. Although exam is less than 2 weeks away, there are a lot of things I can look forward to.

Firstly will be the final holiday trip with my old highschool friend, he will be leaving to the States in September.

Second, my Copywriting lecturer is going to treat me and a few of my friends for a meal on Monday. She said thats our reward or doing so well in our courseworks, that's so nice of her.

Finally, I'm going to get a brand new rig, together with a brand new internet connection. Finally I can make my conputer completely personal. No more sharing, and I can game in peace without anyone bothering. I'm still thinking if I should get the Razer Piranha gaming headset in the process.

I've noticed that recently, my competitive side is beggining to show. Ever since the last tournament I went to, I can feel that I've changed. I do not take losses easily anymore, and I get mad sometimes. Is it a good or bad thing? I don't know, maybe I'm just too concerned about the future of my clan? I really need to relax.

This is for...y'know =p

This one is requested, you know who you are =p

It took 6 weeks,
that long for us to seek.
I did hesitate,
but I found courage, when our eyes meet.

It was first for us both,
I remember it was awkward.
But somehow we held on,
and kept going forward.

I know, it may be over,
I have regretted too.
I've held back my tears,
I wonder if it's the same for you.

Geez, so emotional. Wonder if you're gonna like it. =p

Something special?

Well, today was pretty interesting. Had to write up a 60 second radio commercial script for Advertising Copywriting class. I slacked off a while, played my PSP when I'm supposed to be discussing it with my team mates. When the lecturer finally caught me, I started to do the work. Ah well, she said I'm the best copywriter of the class anyway so I knew she wouldn't mind. (Show off)

My mates tried to create a script and asked me to simply translate them into English. But hell, they completely misunderstood what are we supposed to do, so I went and remake an entirely different script by myself. Being an avid listener to radio commercials, while driving or at home, it took me only a short time to come up with a script in the correct format based on what I've listened so far.

So here I am, acting as the announcer, and I tried to talk like how a radio announcer would, but it's really not easy. Still, I enjoy the moment where I start talking, and the chaotic classroom went silent. I gotta admit, I like the attention. =)

Got another praise from the lecturer again, maybe I'm just doing this subject so well because I'm very exposed to these kind of things. Next week, I'll have to make a television commercial and act it in front of the class, I'll just see how it goes. ;)

This is for myself.

Well, I can't make any assumptions now,
but I guess, I got beat.
Nothing else I can do,
but wonder why did the history repeat.

Although it's already clear,
what the result will be.
I can only hope for the best,
and not have anger within me.

Congratulate? Not my style.
As I know, its hard to accept.
What I've done in the past,
I can only regret.

Call it a poem, but this is the first ever...thing, that I wrote that actually rhymes for once. I can't criticize myself, so why don't you do it? =)

Finally...

...my computer is clear of shitty threats. There are consequences though, I had to remove nearly 100 songs from my playlist because they were infected with a dropper. Well I guess I can take this opportunity to clear some unwanted songs from my hard drive, and just re-download the songs that I want to continue listening to.

Really was a tough time with my connection blocked, and have programs crashing thanks to the dumb infection. After wiping my drive, it goes back to normal. All thanks to my friend (Fapping cat) for helping me to do it. Had to install using Windows Vista though, as his XP cd is scratched and cant be properly read by my drive.

I guess it's not all that bad, better visuals and functions, only need some time to get used to. I've begun liking my 2 year old computer as it is already =)

Repeating history.

Well, its happening all over again.
But I can feel it's much worse this time.
Why can't I ever be as good?
Am I already at my limit?

I thought I've been learning.
But even after all this while,
it is still not enough
I thought I already have what it takes.
But the truth is not meant to be.

Why is this happening?
Am I asking for too much?
I know, the demand is high.
Is that why I'm not the one in priority?
No, it's because I keep messing up.

I do not wish to lose you, I really don't....
But I know, this is a battle which is hard for me to win...

Latest addition to my collection

Yes, it was during PC Fair on the 2nd of August, I have purchased the Razer Tarantula gaming keyboard. At first I did not want the Battlelight attachment that is sold seperately, but once my friend heard that I will get a free limited edition Razer T-shirt, he offered to pay the price of the Battlelight so that he can get the shirt. I told him it's his loss, yet he persisted, saying that he want the shirt badly. So I reminded him it will be his loss as we paid the price.

It costed RM305 for the Tarantula, and RM65 for the Battlelight attachment.
It's freakishly huge because of the extra 10 fully programmable buttons, and the media player and imaging hotkeys at the side. A wrist rest below it with a glowing Razer logo. On top of it is the Battlelight attachment, which illuminates the keyboard in the dark. Seen here with my previously purchased Razer Deathadder gaming mouse. Here are the specs, taken from www.razerzone.com:-
  • Anti-ghosting capability for up to 10 keys
  • 32KB Razer Synapse™ onboard memory
  • On-The-Fly Sensitivity™ profile switching
  • 10 programmable gaming hotkeys
  • 1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time
  • Hyperesponse™ gaming keytop with fully interchangeable keys
  • Headphone-out and microphone-in jacks
  • Media center keys
  • Two USB ports
  • Gold-plated USB connector
  • Razer Battledock™ for add-on accessories
  • Approximate size: 522mm (length) x 220mm (width) x 33mm (height)
Turned off the lights, and turned on the Battlelight. It cant look any cooler than this. Glowing Razer logo and both the Tarantula and the Deathadder on top.
Side view of the Tarantula in the dark. Although the Battlelight is not really strong enough to fully illuminate all the keys, being able to light up all the QWERTY keys will be enough. I have completely no regrets in purchasing this expensive gaming keyboard as it proves to be very useful to me. It's responsive, it has so many functions and it's very quiet. Call it a waste of money, but I think the Tarantula is definitely worth the price.

Again, I shall repeat what I said back when I got my Deathadder.

-I bought the Tarantula with my own money
-This post is not to show off, only expressing my happiness
-I am not rich, its just that I can afford it, and I'm happy that I can
-If you are gonna flame, turn this window off
-If you are gonna show off YOUR stuff, do it somewhere else

It's happening again

I'm trying hard to understand
Yet, it seems so hard
Yes, I am standing firm to my goal
Still, obstacles, this time even more of them than last time
Talk about Deja Vu...

I am trying not to make it too obvious to anyone
Of course besides my target
But is it real that honesty the best policy?
Cuz theres a Mr Nice Guy, making it so darn noticeable
Should I, or should I not do that.

I'll just stay as myself
Never have the thought of losing
After all, they say I have my own good traits
Though I do not know what, I'm trying hard
Not hoping for the best, but expecting the best to happen this time around

Random

Nothing much really happened today.
Only thing worth mentioning is probably the crappy presentation for the Bodycopy assignment from Advertising Copywriting. Then the lecturer gave us a quick exercise to create an advertisement, complete with a created logo, headline, tagline and body copy, all in 45 minutes. I'm in charge of writing the body copy, and I have to say it's not really that hard. Maybe I should look up copywriting as a potential job when I graduate. Needless to say our work was pretty good, as my group has an asset in every aspect (drawing, writing, creating a name) We were granted extra points in our coursework marks.

PC Fair will be in town again this Friday till Sunday. Will be going with a bunch of geeks, who are also my gaming mates. Will probably get a new keyboard, still haven't decided yet. If I did, I will definitely receive nagging because of its price, hell if I care as long as I like it. Thing is, my new rig isn't here yet so it will be a problem as it's kinda troublesome to unplug and replug it again, and I do not wish for anybody but me to use it.

It took me so long to get over it, and I found something pretty interesting. Apparently it involved more than 2 persons too, while I'm still stuck alone.

No idea what I just said up there? You don't have to know, its just one of my my random rantings.

Trying my best to change my obsessive attitude, I think its working pretty good too =)

Gotta jet, need to complete my ad design to hand up tomorrow.

Here's some new singles I'd reccomend:

Should've Said No - Taylor Swift
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

Time to grow up.

What is wrong with me?
I kept saying that people is naive,
but this time, I am the one naive.
I've never realized, not until now.

Why am I acting this way?
This obsession, it's gonna scare people away.
I've been like this for so long.
Is that why it never worked out?

I need to change how I behave.
How? I don't know.
First up, guess I'll try to stop behaving obsessive.
Hopefully I won't make people misunderstand me.
I didn't mean for them to think of me that way.
So, I will try my best to change.

Who's frustrated now?

I can't fucking believe this. Does everything has to be my fault and my fault only? Okay so I plugged the mouse a little loose, and it fell off the port, and all you do is vent out your motherfucking anger at me? I mean, c'mon, is it that FUCKING HARD TO PLUG THE CORD BACK IN THE DAMNED PORT. FOR GOD'S SAKE THE PORT IS NOT EVEN AT THE BACK OF THE FUCKING CPU!

Woke up from my nap and bullshit like this happens. That does it, once I get my new rig, I will SERIOUSLY make it personal, for ME and ME ONLY. I want NOTHING to do with whatever the hell you guys do with this damned thing. I am so SICK AND TIRED of getting the blames on whatever happens to the computer. Infected by some shit, I get the blame FIRST. Hardware malfunctioning, I get the blame FIRST. I don't deny some of them are my fault, but BUSTED CONNECTION AND I GET THE BLAME? I CONTROL SOME SHIT SO THAT YOU CANT USE THE INTERNET? THIS IS MOTHERFUCKING INSANE. I HAVE NO FUCKING REASON TO DO THIS. IF YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT STREAMYX MAY BE THE CAUSE OF CRAPPY INTERNET, THEN YOU SUCK.

And in case you are wondering, YES I AM REFERRING TO MY PARENTS. CALL ME DISRESPECTING OR WHATEVER, BUT SERIOUSLY I CAN'T TAKE THIS BULLSHIT ANYMORE. YOU GET TO SHARE A COMPUTER WITH YOUR PARENTS AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN? I AM SO SICK OF EXCUSES, SUCH AS "PARENTS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT" WHICH ALWAYS PUTS THE BLAME ON ME.

I will even go through the trouble of making a new connection in my house. All because I do not EVER wanna take the blame if any shit happens again. There will be no more excuses. What? I hack into your pc and infect it? I AM GONNA SHOUT IN YOUR FACE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME WHATSOEVER.

MixFM Karaoke Party @ Red Box Plus, Pavilion KL

Well, all it took for me to win 2 invitations to the Karaoke Party was to sing on air. It was a Wednesday night, so I don't think anyone I know heard my voice over the radio. Hahah.

Reached there early, about 6.40pm, thankfully, the traffic was pretty cooperative, I expected it to be much worse. Got up to the Times bookstore and got myself a copy of GameAxis Magazine to keep myself occupied. Met up with Leanne, whom I invited to the party with me, her bro and her mom. After a short conversation, we went our own ways. Got to the place, and went into the room.
There's room 10. Its a really huge room, said to fit 50 people, but i don't think there are enough seats. It's pretty cool too, with an LCD projector as the screen, and some holes in the wall we can use to sit/lean on.

Moments later, Jay arrived, followed by Anu, Lynn, Serena C, Roshan, DJ Snipe, Sham and finally Pietro. Everyone was asked to pick a song, so I decided to pick Everything by Michael Buble. Tried not to screw anything, I did my best in singing it, and it was pretty good. Some of the people started praising me, wow maybe I should take up singing huh? Yeah and I personally got told by Serena C that I'm a good singer too. =p

Talked to Roshan quite a bit. He's very friendly. Also talked to Serena C because Leanne knows her and we got into a little conversation. Did not talk much to Pietro as he needs to leave earlier since he has work with Serena C in the next morning, so I quickly asked for a shot with him.
Also got a shot together with Serena C and Leanne, this photo is taken by Roshan. I've got some shots with him too.
He's a very tall guy, he bent his knee's a little in the picture with me, and did not do it at all in the picture with Leanne, well she's the one that asked him not to. Got a shot with Sham too.
Yeah, hes big, bald and has a deep voice. This shot is taken while singing Touch My Body by Mariah Carey, and yes, I'm actually touching his belly.

It's very fun, considering it's just a Karaoke Party, the fact that we get to have fun with our favourite announcers more than makes up for it. They are all so funny and fun to be with. After some time Leanne needed to go home a little earlier. About 10pm the party ended. Everyone left and I hanged back a little for some chat with the remaining announcers. Gave Sham my number too, asking him to call me if there are any events going on. Wow, will I ever get a call from him? Only time will tell.

Although the Party ended a little earlier than expected, I've had so much fun. I mean, to get to meet and sing with my favourite radio announcers, I am very happy and satisfied. It's been a while since I last had so much fun, and I thank all the people, and MixFM who made this all possible. Looking forward to another event with them again. =)

Here are some pictures, for your eyes only xD

I'm tired....very tired....

I'm finally on the edge of a cliff.
Jumping off the edge will probably cure me of all the uncertainties.
Walk away from the edge, and I will have to continue enduring it.
Day goes by, my emotional stability seems to be falling apart.
My heart feels like it's being slashed every second.
It's very unpleasant...

With one final decision to make, it will determine everything.
This decision will be decided simply by asking this one question.
The answer I get will be the final deciding factor.
To give up, or not to give up.
Hoping for the best will not work anymore.
I will just let the answer help me in deciding everything.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

What should I do?

Maybe I should just give up.
Now that I've waited this long, it's been taken to another level.
Although it's almost time, I fear it's already too late.
I do not want to lose, I really don't, but there is only so much I can do.
Even if I did make my move, I'm very scared of the feeling of failure.

Should I just move on?
You would say I should, but this is the one thing that I truly care about.
This is the first time that I got this feeling of not wanting to lose it.
I can't just sit here and do nothing, or I will hate myself forever.
But if I fail, I will hate the obstacle instead.
Will I ever overcome this obstacle, and my own barrier made of fear...

In the Summertime...

It's been quite some time now.
I've been trying so hard, and yet I can't seem to make it.
It's not that I don't want to, I just can't, dumb obstacles.
Even if I find the chance, will I be brave enough to do it?
Will I be able to handle it?

More and more obstacles comes with every second I waste.
It seems like if I don't make my move, I will lose my chance forever.
It's not that I want to wait, there are just too many obligations.
Something else happened while I wait.
And if I wait any longer, I'm afraid I will really lose my chance.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay above is only my rant, decipher the meaning if you can.

Nothing much has happened. College life is getting busier by the day. Assignments will be piling up on me soon.

It's been 2 weeks, and Leanne will leave back to Japan, and then to the States, in another 2 weeks. It hurts me to think about it, if I could I really wouldn't want her to leave, as it will be another year until I can see her again. I need to make the most out of time while she is still here =)

I finally got the song Summertime by New Kids On The Block (Thanks Myuu =D). It's real good, can't live a day without listening to it. Further new additions to my playlist will be Should've Said No and Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift.

"I think about you in the Summertime,
and all the good times we've had baby.
Been a few years and I cant deny,
the thought of you still makes me crazy.
I think about you in the Summertime,
I'm sittin' here in the sun, with you on my mind.
You are, my Summertime" - Summertime by New Kids On The Block

"And I'm back for the first time since then, I'm standing on your street.
There's a letter left on your doorstep and the first thing that you'll read.
Is when you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song.
Someday you'll turn your radio on, I hope it takes you back to that place.
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress.
Think of my head on your chest, and my old faded blue jeans.
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think of me" - Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift

"You said the way my blue eyes shined,
put those Georgia stars to shame that night,
I said that's a lie" - Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift

Sea of sorrow, filled with regret.

Why did I ever do what I did?
I was only trying to vent my frustrations, but I ended up making things worse.
So much for making my presence felt, ended up with nothing but regret.
I'm now drowned upon a river of sorrow.

I knew I was very close at one point, something got in the way.
And when I thought I got even closer, someone got in the way.
The feeling overcame my heart, I did the one thing I shouldn't have done.
One bad decision, one wrong move, that's all it takes.

Now that I did what I did, what else can I do?
If I could turn back time, would I have done something better?
If I were given a chance, I will make sure I treasure it.
The only problem is, I'm sure it's too late now.

How could I have did it without thinking of the consequences?
I got blinded by the feeling, which I don't enjoy at all.
It's obviously too late to regret now that it's all said and done.
What can I do now? Hope for the best? Why don't you tell me.

I've been trying to search for salvation with no luck.
And when I thought I've finally found it, I messed up.
The only thing that I truly care about more than anything.
I beg for forgiveness.

Just an update

Nothing much have happened hence I have nothing interesting to write here. Out of boredom I decided to write something.

First thing, I have busted the camera in my phone. Took a nasty fall, and it goes down. This is the 2nd time it got busted and it cost me RM100 for the repairs last time. Guess I'll just have to cough the money up again. Geez.

I'm still searching for the Balisong and so far, I've got no luck. I would really appreciate help in finding it, preferably just give me the exact location where you are sure it is available. I do not want counterfeit ones, which are usually cheap but breaks easily due to the cheap materials too. I am willing to pay up to RM50 for it.

Leanne is back in Malaysia! Just went for lunch and a movie with her and her bro and Eric. It's been a year since I last saw her and she's still the same. Always the lovely and energetic girl. Love love <3 =) Sadly since my phone camera got busted I cant take any pictures.

Thats it I suppose, nothing much to say, unless you want to hear all the boring stories which can make you fall asleep.

What makes a weapon deadly? It's user.

This here is called a Balisong, or butterfly knife in english. Its a folding pocket knife from Philippines. As so the Spy's main weapon for backstabs in Team Fortress 2. Looking at him flicking the knife whenever I want to use it makes me think they look cool. So I did a little research. It's very historical, according to Wikipedia, they were used in duel's over matters of honor, though such practices has been discontinues for decades.

I've been looking for it for quite some time now. I know its illegal to own sharp objects and carrying it around in Malaysia, let alone a knife, which can be used as a weapon, but I just want to own one for the sake of it's coolness, and who knows if I can use it for self protection, right? Injuring people as an act of self defense is not punishable by law.

I've also found a cool site dedicated to this knife. There are also video demonstration of the knife usage and freestyle knife play. Here it is

This site will also be posted on the links part, to the left of this blog.

I really want to have one, if any of my readers knows where I can get one, do tell me, I will appreciate the help. =D
