Teardrops on my computer?

Nothing much has happened these few days. I can't wait till college reopens next week, it's been a tough month at home most of the time with nothing to do but to play games, watch videos and chatting online. The most noticeable thing that changed is probably the addition of 4 new songs into my playlist. They are:

RBD - Tu Amor
Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
Trey Songz - Can't Help But Wait
Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar

My favourite has got to be Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar. The lyrics are about this guy named Drew, which is apparently the love interest of the singer, but he doesn't know it, and he found a girl he likes without knowing her feelings. It's a pretty emotional song, try not to listen to it if you're moody or depressed. Lyrics aside, I've also seen the music video. At first glance at her, I thought to myself "Damn she's beautiful". Especially the parts where shes singing in an evening gown holding a guitar, which suits the song title. The music video also further clarifies the theory stated above. You can really tell that shes jealous when she sees the guy she likes with another girl. There are many opinions about this, some say the guy is stupid not to notice her feelings, some say the girl is at fault herself because she didn't tell the guy how she feels. Anyway, it's a good song which I recommend.

I suppose that's all I can say this time. Hopefully there will be something worth updating here in the coming days. Signing off~

P.S: Apparently my family changed the Shanghai plan to May
P.S.S: Any idea what "Sin Ti Mi Vida No Tiene Sentido" means? =)
P.S.S.S: Taylor Swift is a year younger than me. Am I that old?

High Class Dining?

Today went to Taylors College PJ for a dinner service by my friend KC along with Chee Hoe, Fatt and CS. I've been there a couple of times, the food aint half bad too. The best part is, we get to have KC as our personal waiter. Whats on the menu today? Well we had Shrimp Cocktail for appetizer, Grilled Chicken for the main course, and Crepes Flambe and coffee/tea for dessert. Heres how the chicken looks like:It may not look as good, but the taste is satisfactory. Can't expect much from college students, but they sure can cook better than me. That aside, KC got the role of manager today. He's basically the boss this time, though he still had to serve us as he gets graded based on his performance. Heres a few pictures of him in action:
Service with a smile, satisfied customer with a smile too.
Opening the wine bottle
Preparing the Crepes Flambe, the fire is real.

Don't he look good in a coat huh? He transformed into a different person in it, not the old KC I used to know back in high school. Overall the food is satisfactory, and the service is good too. Had to unbuckle my belt while driving home though, it got a little tighter than usual after the meat haha.

A guys day out!

This post may be a little picture heavy

So, 10 guys decided to go for a gathering at Mid Valley. It's supposed to be a clan member gathering but I took the initiative to ask a few more non-clan people, and a GM of Blueserver too. The more the merrier =D We first had lunch at the Chopstick Noodle House. Then we met up with Kaelz and Hakky. Had a pretty good time at the arcade, sadly I failed to beat Time Crisis 4 again. Oh, all of us had a real good time with Bishi Bashi, where you mash the buttons like crazy. Heres Kaelz and Hakky enjoying their time =DAfterwards, we went up for some pool. Half of us are complete newbies, excluding me of course. 4 of us plays in one table, while the other 6 in another. Sadly again, I managed to only defeat Hakky while losing to Kaelz and NexXim. (I actually lost to Hakky too due to pocketing the black ball early in the game xD) Pictures again! 1st up, Clan 3ch0 Chieftain KillerRobot!

Jack, big guy but needs assistance with the stick.
Adrian @ MerclynnMe
Eric @ NexXim the pro
Finally, Kildare and his sniping position!
Sorry for those that I didn't get pictures of, I didn't get the chance to snap. Overall it was a real enjoyable day. Some of us had to go earlier, leaving me, NexXim, Kaelz, Hakky, Jack and Mike to have dinner at McD's. We talked for a pretty long time. Jack and Mike left, and the four of us went to starbucks for more chit-chatting. We depart for our homes at 9pm. So, I say this gathering was a success. Looking forward to the next one =D

Point of advantage?

So, today I watched Vantage Point with my old high school mates and damn, it's good. It's a movie about an attempted assassination of the US President and it follows the steps of 8 people before, during and after the scene. The movie is rewinded when it reaches the climax of every character's progress, and starts with another one. The mystery is revealed bit by bit following every character. The outcome of every character is revealed all at once near the end and the story unfolds. It's a movie I highly recommend. There are some fools, though, laughing every time the movie rewinds after every character, which I find very annoying. Please, don't be one of them.

We went to Uncle Duck's restaurant for dinner after that. We had steamboat there. It sure is pretty expensive though, but the food is better than I had expected.

Had a bad stomachache when i got home though, it may or may not be the food heh. Okay, time to playtest Cabal closed beta. Signing off~

Feeling nostalgic.

It's been quite some time since I listened to non-English songs ever since I started driving to college. Out of boredom, I decided to listen to the old mandarin and cantonese songs in my playlist. Its pretty nostalgic. Brought back a whole lot of memories, new and old, sweet and sour, happy and sad, most important of all, those of my first relationship. Theres this song that I used to like very much back then, I tried to avoid it after it ended because I'd rather not let memories haunt me. I guess now I've gotten over it. Listening to what used to be my favourite song really satisfied me. Sure, it may make me recall some of the memories that I tried real hard to forget, but memories will remain memories, however sad they may be.

I never knew that getting over the past and moving on is such a hard task. I thought it was just a matter of ending things up, stay alone for a while, calm down and the rest will be fine, but I was wrong. Its been about half a year now, and I'm still haunted by the memories. I may be able to temporarily forget them while busy with something else, but it just comes right back at me whenever I have nothing to do, or when listening to some songs. They say time heals, but I have no idea how long will it take for me, I can only hope that it wont be long. I'm really tired living like this.

Passport at the age of 20?

So, my parents brought me to make a passport today. Of course I asked why, apparently we are going for a vacation. It's schedule around the end of March to Shanghai for a whole week. This means I'm gonna miss a whole week of class and the Internet. Hopefully there will be internet cafe's 'round there cuz I cant stand living a few days without it, let alone for a week. Yeah, I'm not alone on this, Arya's phone line got busted, so shes out from the internet for about a week now. Dont worry, I know full well how bad it feels, wasn't the line though, its the stupid earthquake back then that made my life a living hell for about a week too. Hopefully your line get repaired soon. It's been pretty quiet without you around.

In other news, Hong Kong comedian and actress Lydia Shum, better known as "Fei Fei", has just passed away "at the Queen Mary Hospital on 19 February 2008, at 08:38. The cause of death was complications from liver cancer". -Taken from Wikipedia

Sad news, wish she'd live longer to keep us entertained. Condolences to her family, relatives and friends. Rest in peace, you will not be forgotten.

So, everything else is basically the same daily routine for me. Signing off~

First post!

Okay, so yeah, this is my first post . I created this blog out of boredom actually, so I'm not even sure if I have the time to keep it updated. I can only hope that i don't leave it to rot like how i did to the one on msn space. I'll try to keep posting as long as I have time. Until then, I'll just think of what to write.
