December 7th, 2008

Nothing much has happened this past week. Only a lot of things to prepare for, and anticipate in the near future.

First, will be the Drama Presentation in class, which me and my group is supposed to act out the scene we have chosen in class. No reading from script whatsoever. I am still procrastinating instead of trying to get the script down in my brain.

Secondly, the upcoming gaming tournament. This will be held at Berjaya Times Square, from 25th to 28th December. I will be participating in 2 of the games available, which covers all 4 days (Talk about parking fee, geez). Whoever interested to cheer me on, or simply to watch all the hype the gaming community can bring, just drop by. It will be at the new Digital Centre at the 2nd floor.

I have also found a pair of cute female Japanese singers. They are not only good looking, but can also sing and dance Live.

Amazing aren't they? They are called "Halcali", which is a combination of both their names "Halca" (Haruka) and "Yucali" (Yukari).

Both of them look great, but I prefer Haruka ;)

Magic?

I've recently found something interesting.

http://en.akinator.com/#

This website attempts to guess what character, real or not, you are thinking in your mind by asking questions.

I've tried it personally and most of the time it was accurate. Those wrong guesses was because I gave the wrong answer.

It's pretty fun I should say, although it may seem to be boring, I cant help but be amazed that it can actually guess correctly.

A new age begins.

Ah, it's that time of the year again, which happens once a year, just like New Year's, to every living being. 26th November marks my 20th birthday.

And just like that, I have reached the second decade of my life. It feels, nostalgic somehow, I can still recall what happened years ago while I was still in high school.

I've got numerous wishes this year, which makes me so happy. I've also got a sweater from my beloved coursemates, they know I always shiver in lecture halls, thanks a lot. =D

Ordinary turned...a little extra. =P

The usual Monday blue, and I was especially lazy since my car needs to be fixed, and having no transport practically ruined my mood. Still got my @$$ hauled to college anyway, by asking my friend to take a detour to my house and pick me up.

Everything went as normal, as I was walking towards the station, my phone rang.

It was from a landline, I picked up. To my surprise, it was Sham, from MixFM. I remember giving him my number back during the MixFM's Karaoke Party.

At first I didn't know the reason he called. He simply asked me how to pronounce the word "Caillat".

Yeah, it's Colbie Caillat's name, and I still did not know the true reason behind the call. I must be overly surprised. I asked him, and he said he's gonna put me on radio, and I finally get it.

Colbie Caillat's name is often mispronounced, and I suppose he was calling a number of people to see who actually gets it correct (which I did). So I guess whoever that was listening to MixFM between 2-3pm would've heard my voice on air.

If I would've been able to maintain my composure, I would ask some questions, but I lost it =X

We'll I guess if he could call me once, he could call me again eh? xD

Ratio 3:1

Met with yet another accident, but this time is minor, and totally not my fault.

I was heading back from college, going uphill on the flyover near National library, I saw the traffic is jammed about a sprint track's length in front, naturally, I slow down with the brakes. When I was a few feet away from coming to a complete halt, my car shook together with a loud bang from behind.

It was a bike this time around, and since he fell off his bike, I checked on him if he is injured, no visible flesh wound, but his bike is damaged. The side windows fell apart, and the front wheel went out of alignment. I check the condition of my car, and found out it only added a few scratches to the already scratched rear bumper.

We stopped at a side to further check his and his bikes condition, and after I called my parents, seeing it was only a minor scratch, we decided to let it slide. Little did I know that the car made klunking noises if its still, or moving slowly, and it happens when there is weight in the car i.e me. I tried leaving the car and the noise stops. Something must have gone loose. I was also foolish enough to forget to take down the license plate number, damn.

I know, some people are gonna laugh at me or say how stupid I am on the wheel, and all I have to say is you're not there to witness.

On the bright side, Left 4 Dead is finally live on Steam. I have waited months for this game and now it is proving to be worth every cent spent on it.

Countdown, bored of it.

Watched the movie version of "A streetcar named Desire", which is adapted from a story. It was really nice, and learned a lot about acting, which would be very helpful for my Drama Assignment. Left 4 Dead is due to release next Tuesday, I am bored of the short 2 stage demo, and cant wait till I get my hands on the full game.

Oh, I have also downloaded a pirated copy of Red Alert 3 =P

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has been some time,
I do not know how or when it started.
At first, I thought there will never be,
Never imagined this would be me.

I have since tried,
But all to no avail.
What I did were simply taken for granted,
Instead of the realization I wanted.

Anxiety and waiting, it sucks.

Some of my friends got their early demo access to Left 4 Dead last night. This is a bonus, aside from the 10% off, that they get when they pre-order the game from Steam.

I have...3 days to wait, probably 4 because of the timezone difference and download speed, until I can get my hands on the game I have anxiously waited for months.

May not look it, but I am a huge fan of survival horror games, especially those with more action, and co-op mode. Co-op mode is totally my favorite feature of any game, this is because I never liked to play alone, and prefer to have friends along.

This, together with my favorite genre, the survival horror games, packed with intensity and action thanks to the AI Director, will make Left 4 Dead my favorite game of all time, I just know it. Maybe until some other better game just like it emerges, which I'm sure will not be possible, at least not in a number of years.

I may be telling my friends to enjoy the early demo access, what they rightfully deserve, but I am actually jealous that they can play the game before me. 3 days until I receive the chance to get my hands on the demo, I will make the most out of the short 6 days to gain as much experience as possible.
